Are You Branded Right? You’ll Be Surprised, It’s Not What You Think

How To Be A Brand That Stands Out And All The Right People Love

Are You Ready To Brand Yourself So Incredibly Uniquely That No One Will Ever Stand Above Your Brand?

That’s you way up there standing tall on that mountain of YOU, INC.

The Secret to great branding is YOU.  As in, you the person.  Your story, what you find funny, your silliness or your corporate chic.  Your brand for your new small business should reflect your style, who you are in this world and leaves your mark every where you go.

Its not some fancy logo or color scheme, your brand has to come from within, otherwise it will not be authentic.

In today’s microwave society we want what we want, when we want it and we want it NOW!  And gone are the days where companies can just sell you anything and you go for it.  We can sniff out a fake faster than you can say bologna.

That’s why your branding your small business has to be authentic to you.  If you go trotting out a message to the masses that you yourself don’t  believe, you will not sell it to anyone else.

Imagine Mary Kay, the founder of Mary Kay Cosmetics, what if she really wasn’t a people person and she really didn’t believe in recognition for what you’ve earned and she was just a miserable soul to be around.  There is no way on God’s beautiful earth that she could have created an empire with a belief in recognition, a sincere love for people and a mission to uplift women.

Women all over would have sniffed her out like a 2 month old cheese in the back of your fridge.  You cannot sell what you don’t believe in.

Your brand has to have you written all over it.  Are you quirky and silly?  Are you corporate and exact, or are you a mix of both, or somewhere in between?  These are the questions that should come into play when branding your company.  What is the feel, tone, impression of your small  business you want to be stuck in the mind of a person once they’ve encountered your company?

True branding for businesses creates a pattern.  What is the consistent pattern that we leave people with when they come into contact with our brand?

One huge consistent pattern over all your channels of contact to the world from your business.  Everything else, like logos, colors fonts and themes, who you are trying to reach, comes soon after.
